For a future game I plan to develop I made a quick UI mock up to plan out how the gameplay and look and feel for the game will be. The gameplay loop will be simple: spend money to get critters, send them in an alleyway to fight unknown horrors to get money, spend money to upgrade and buy critters and then rinse and repeat.
